Primergy develops, builds, and invests in utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects that provide reliable, affordable clean energy, optimizing location, technology, or a combination of both. Each Primergy project is carefully assessed for storage capability, consumer energy needs, and the ability to preserve or enhance the local environment.
Assuming prevalent sunshine, we determine viable project sites by looking for proximity to transmission lines with available capacity, matched with customer demand
Next, we review selected sites for environmental, engineering, and construction suitability to make sure we are advancing projects that will ultimately be cost effective and successful.
We finalize agreements with customers for the renewable energy and other attributes that will be produced by the project with a variety of types of energy buyers.
After ensuring that we can mitigate any potential barriers to advancing a well-sited project and engaging stakeholders, we finalize land agreements with interested landowners and complete any permitting and environmental review requirements.
Once all permits are in hand and engineering is complete, the project is then constructed. The last step is connecting the project’s clean power to the grid. Each project will operate for several decades.
