Intern Program Overview

We are designing an internship program that provides students exposure to the renewables sector, with the intention of providing the skills and experience to launch careers in this exciting field.

Primergy’s internship program also allows participants the opportunity to build a network of professionals across finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial strategy, and more. In addition, we find that the learning is often bilateral, with Primergy benefitting from the insights and perspectives of this new cohort of talent.

Who is Primergy’s ideal intern?

Students studying engineering, business, economics, finance, environmental science, marketing, communication and policy are all encouraged to apply, but the key qualifications for a Primergy internship position are:

An enthusiastic and genuine passion for renewable energy

Strong analytical skills

Written and verbal communication skills with ability to learn, act as directed, and offer feedback through clear communication and attention to detail

The ability to work remotely and independently, step into new tasks and adapt to unique circumstances in a dynamic environment

Honest, reliable, and have a good strong work ethic

Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

“It was really awesome for me to see an actual solar project in real life, because I do study quantitative energy systems which relates to renewable energy for my degree at school but I’ve never seen one in person. So I think that experience that they provided was pretty incredible and they organized it really well.”
