Meet Our 2024 Intern Class
Sayrai Williams -- Marketing Intern
Sayrai’s journey in renewable energy started about a year ago here at Primergy. Currently a senior marketing major with a minor in economics at Howard University, Sayrai has used her creativity and skills in portfolio branding and strategic communication to promote sustainability. Passionate about helping others, Sayrai was thrilled to discover the significant impact of renewable energy. This summer, she is excited to continue her journey at Primergy, honing her skills and tackling the innovative challenges of this industry.
Justine Phi -- Commercial Strategy Intern
The clean energy space offers Justine an exciting opportunity to expand her excel finance modeling skills, gain knowledge about renewable energy, and further develop her analytical skills. Her trilingual capabilities also compelled her toward the diversity that Primergy features, as she welcomes meeting people with different backgrounds and coming together to make a positive impact on our world. Justine attends George Washington University in our nation’s capital city.
Dany Zisman -- Strategic Planning Intern
Dany’s desire to learn more about the factors behind renewable energy’s tremendous growth, coupled with curiosity about IRPs and the development process, led to him joining Primergy. As a rising senior at UNC Chapel Hill studying economics and business, Dany also finds time to play in a band that has charted three original songs on Spotify.
Ella Brown -- Project Engineering Intern
Ella is committed to fostering a healthy planet and actively seeks to contribute. Recognizing the importance of renewable energy from a young age, she is now a rising senior at Boston University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Ella is eager to collaborate with fellow engineers to make a positive impact on the environment and its inhabitants.
Carly Barello -- Commercial Strategy Intern
Carly is excited to take her first step toward her goal of a long-term career in renewables. She recognizes the incredible importance of combating climate change. She attends UNC Chapel Hill, pursuing a degree in Environmental Science on the Quantitative Energy Track and Statistics. Carly keeps herself balanced by engaging in her love for sewing and selling handmade doll clothing online, which started back in high school.
Dylan Bryant -- Transmission Intern
Dylan is looking forward to expanding his knowledge about the renewable energy industry while exploring his interests in creating clean power and a sustainable future. He is a third-year student pursuing computer science at Michigan Technological University. Dylan, who has a passion for travel and has already visited over a dozen countries, is eagerly anticipating his visit to the Gemini Solar and Battery Storage project near Las Vegas, Nevada, this Summer.
Wenkai Sun – GIS Intern
Wenkai is currently enrolled in the MS in Computer Science program at NYU. He knows how much computing power the emerging AI sector requires, combined with increased transportation electrification and the seemingly never-ending growth of tech data centers. Wenkai believes the clean energy industry holds the keys to providing affordable power and is poised to become the dominant energy provider. He can’t wait to dive into market data using his computer skills to prove his premises and help Primergy fulfill its promise of a better future.
Giacomo Bonetti -- M&A Intern
Giacomo is eager to help Primergy’s M&A team dive into the characteristics that make for an economically and environmentally sound solar energy project. Giacomo recently graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a degree in economics and business. During his time there, he worked at two asset management firms through the school’s esteemed co-op program. Growing up in Boulder, Colorado, he has always had a passion for the outdoors. He sees the renewable energy space as a natural crossroads between his degree and passions.
